The unit features several significant industry-leading features and user benefits.

Large Furnace & Turnaround

The 2-pass design is never less than 26” turnaround depth. Overall low gas side pressure drop results in low back pressure that allows for excellent burner performance with low blower motor HP requirements.

Minimal Thermal Stress

A single flue gas turnaround from the furnace to the 2nd pass tubes minimizes tube sheet temperature differentials. Less thermal stress enables reduced maintenance and repair costs.

Fireside Manway

All FRONTIER Series wetback boilers are equipped with a 24” rear access plug that is a true fireside “manway”. It is mounted on a hinged davit that allows for easy opening and closing for inspection and maintenance safely without requiring extra manpower or equipment.

Erosion Protection

Thermal insulation on davited front doors is fully encapsulated with 16-gauge sheet metal to help eliminate erosion and provides greater protection during maintenance activities.   The reinforced rear “skin” is extremely durable and is designed to last.

Ring Groove Engineering

All FRONTIER Series firetube boilers include the exclusive Victory “ring groove” tube attachment and minimum 3⁄4” ligament distance between tubes coupled with a tube sheet thickness which is never less than 3⁄4” results in a very robust tube-to-tube sheet connection.  The large steam chest provides dry steam and handles the most demanding load conditions.
