Victory Energy hires Robert Mangiapia as Director of Industrial Boiler Sales, Business Development

COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — Victory Energy announces the hiring of Robert Mangiapia as the Director of Industrial Boiler Sales, Business Development.  Mangiapia’s primary role is to strengthen the company’s sales and marketing efforts through the representative sales organization to realize more industrial boiler sales penetration.  He’ll also be in charge of all sales activities for the complete line of Victory Energy industrial boilers and heat recovery steam generators (HRSG).

Mangiapia has an extensive background in the control and boiler segment across many diverse industries, most recently as Regional Sales Manager for Associated Boiler Line Equipment, one of Victory Energy’s representatives in the Northeast.  “Bob understands the challenges that a sales rep faces on a daily basis.  He’s knows what works and what doesn’t as it relates to manufacturers engaging with their rep partners.  This experience will be invaluable in helping Victory Energy to better support our valued representative selling efforts,” stated Victory Energy President and CEO, John Viskup.   “Victory Energy has made a concerted effort to make the company the preeminent firm that our representative force works with, and the hiring of Mangiapia is critical to advancing that position,” said Viskup.

Mangiapia has worked various roles with control instrumentation responsibilities including as Director of Plant Control Systems with Fresh Direct, the largest, highly automated internet-based grocery delivery company, and as Director of Research and Development at Diamond Phoenix.   “My background in working both directly for companies and selling to them helps me to better understand the motivations of each.  Being a representative provided unique insights into how the best companies engage and connect with their rep partners. I plan to put this learning to use to strengthen Victory Energy’s representative network,” shared Mangiapia.
