In response to end-user requests, Victory Energy has designed a new Articulating Hinged Access Door to mitigate the time and burden associated with the removal of traditional HRSG and hot flue gas duct door configurations.  These new innovative doors allow quick and easy access to HRSG pressure parts as well as other components located in the hot flue gas stream. This eliminates the need to manually remove up to 30 bolts.  Higher levels of speed and safety are achieved by plant operators and maintenance personnel when using the new Articulating Hinged Access Doors.

The Articulating Hinged Access Doors require no tools and only one person to remove the door.  This unique design, with ergonomic handles, allows the door to come straight out and then easily moved to the side.  This enables critical parts of your HRSG and other equipment within the flue gas path to be fully accessible within minutes for routine or unplanned maintenance.  There are virtually no servicing requirements, including not having to replace hardware that may be stripped when removing traditional doors.

The new stable and secure design features up to 12” thick insulation as well as dual tadpole gaskets.  The weight is considerably less than traditional HRSG access doors and decreases the likelihood of maintenance being postponed or ignored due to the difficulty of door removal.

The design has been specified on several new projects being manufactured at the Collinsville operation, one of which is for a leading energy provider in the Southeast.  The Articulated Hinged Access Doors are now a standard feature on all Victory Energy hot flue gas duct system applications and can be easily retrofitted into any existing HRSG casing or flue gas duct.
