Steam powers American industry. Most of the fuels used by U.S. manufacturers and utilities are processed to make steam. But steam production technology not only powers productivity, it is a vital element in energy recovery and conservation.

Consider one of the frequently overlooked ironies of the growing renewably energy crusade: Energy production requires energy consumption. A plant producing ethanol for example, requires a certain amount of heat, usually generated by burning a non-renewable resource such as natural gas. Any system which can recover a portion of that heat saves energy, lowers costs and maximizes the net energy gain of the ethanol produced. Steam technology has become the cornerstone of energy recovery, and Victory Energy one of the industry’s fastest-growing leaders.

Formed in 1999, the Oklahoma-based company designs, manufactures, rents and transports boiler systems worldwide. Every Victory Energy boiler system is a custom-built solution, with the company frequently going so far as to build physical scale-models of a particular client’s system. Victory Energy not only manufactures boiler island components, it also provides stacks, economizers, de- aerators, blow-down heat recovery systems, control systems, ductwork and more. Victory Energy is considered a “single source” provider, offering any part, service or product relating to steam production.

In less than a decade, Victory Energy has grown to more than 300 employees and 170,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities spread over its Collinsville and Cushing, OK plants. It is an indication of the ever-expanding need for innovative solutions for steam production applications. The company has executed more than 500 projects for renewable energy and utility companies as well as a number of commercial and industrial operations.

“Our goals for the future include diversifying the applications of developed technologies and focusing on ways that our products and services can further benefit the industries that depend on the efficiencies and the power of a renewable energy – STEAM,” said John Viskup, President of Victory Energy. “The spirit of energy recovery and conservation continues to inspire us all to improve the world that we live in, one day at a time.”
