End-Market Group Invests for Enhanced Customer Engagement and Business Acceleration

With more end users looking to align with OEMs more closely for all their boiler room operation and maintenance activities, the Victory Energy End-Market Group is investing to deliver against this burgeoning trend.  Many companies have reduced their internal boiler room staffing while seeking new partnership alternatives to run their boiler operations.  Increasingly, they’re looking to Victory Energy’s End-Market Group to be a seamless turnkey provider of maintenance, spare parts and shutdown activities.  This market indicator plays well into the Victory Energy business approach of being there “for the life of the boiler.”

“Customers are concentrating their efforts on core business activities – production and processing.  They look to invest in what they do best and to use outside suppliers for other activities within their plant operations.  “Utilizing OEM partners is the direction of choice,” according to Sanat Shetty who heads up VEO’s End-Market Group.  “This requires a level of customer closeness way beyond what we’ve experienced in the past.  We’re staffing up to respond to customer needs,” added Shetty.

Customer Engagement Investments

Customers seek a connection to the OEM which is a core element of the company.  They want to partner with influencers who have the juice to make things happen and respond quickly when problems inevitably occur.  They want answers and they want them to be fast.  This is why a new position of V.P. Customer Experience and Quality has been created within our company.  Ned Kaled is assuming the role of heading up all levels of customer engagement which tie into the VEO promise of “concept to completion.”  Ned has been with VEO for nearly five years and has been functioning in this role as well as overseeing all of the company’s quality initiatives.   He brings four decades plus of experience in the aviation industry serving the most discriminating clients – aviation companies.  Customers count on him to deliver solutions in a straightforward way.  They value his drive and frankness.  He has deep relationship tentacles throughout our plant. This combination of attributes puts the customer first.

The Steam Test Facility Difference

As part of the increased emphasis on customer engagement, resources are added in all facets of installation, commissioning and maintenance.  This includes new staffing resources in the innovative Steam Test Facility.  More customers are choosing to have their new boilers go through a full operational test before shipment.  The upfront investment has proven to save substantial money at installation and startup.  The opportunity to have internal customer resources work closely with Victory Energy boiler experts is invaluable.  Startup becomes seamless with the boilers and burners working at maximum capacity and efficiency straightaway.

The Service, Spare Parts and Rental Boiler Equation – Answering Business Growth Through Leadership

The service and spare parts side of the business is growing tremendously based upon both user need and our ability to deliver service expertise that is resident only with a boiler and burner manufacturer.  No one knows boilers and burners better than the people who build them.  Another reason why it’s a smart decision to look to a boiler OEM for total service solutions.

As the service and spare parts business grows, it’s imperative to add a dedicated leader for this side of the business.  A leader who understands all that is involved in the operation and maintenance side of the boilers.  Someone who knows their way around a boiler room.  We’re very pleased that Sean McMenamin has joined Victory Energy as V.P End-Market Sales and Service to accelerate service, spare parts and rental boiler growth.  This is in addition to several new hires over the first nine months of 2024.  Sean brings a wealth of 25 years of boiler and burner experience which is going to help further penetrate the burner retrofit side of the business.   He’s worked on both the manufacturer and customer side of the fence.  This unique experience makes him well suited to helping customers meet their boiler room challenges head on.

Meeting Challenges Head On

There is no question that much of Victory Energy’s future business growth is going to be derived through the aftermarket side of the business.  Vertical integration requires close alignment with customers before and after our products leave the factory floor.  We’re positioned to deliver on any customer service requirement.  The key is being available wherever and whenever customers require our support.

Aftermarket support has been and will always remain a priority for our company.  As customer priorities shift increasingly to an outsourcing model, Victory Energy is investing in people and processes to deliver against the customer service needs.  Additional strategic investments are planned in the future.

Like everything that Victory Energy embarks on, it is always Full Steam Ahead.
