Victory Energy hires Robert Williams as COO

COLLINSVILLE, Okla., October, 2014 — Victory Energy announces the hiring of power and oil and gas industry executive Robert Williams as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Williams brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Victory Energy, having worked in executive-level positions for companies within the key industries that Victory Energy serves. This is a new position for the company that reflects the tremendous success the company is achieving in 2014 and forecast into the future.
Reporting to Victory Energy President and CEO John Viskup, Williams will be in charge of overseeing all facets of the Victory Energy operations. “As Victory Energy continues to grow and evolve, we recognize the need to have a Chief Operating Officer to help us realize all the opportunities in front of us. Bob has the industry experience, knowledge and talent required to facilitate making this happen,” stated Viskup.
Williams has over three decades of experience with many diverse companies that align well with Victory Energy. Before coming to Victory Energy, Williams served as VP Operations for Braden Manufacturing, a worldwide leader in providing auxiliary products for the gas turbine power industry. Previous to that he was President of CRC-Evans Pipeline Group, a worldwide provider of pipeline construction equipment for pipeline contractors, and Executive V.P. and Chief Operating Officer for Jason Power Systems, a manufacturer of engineered custom fabricated products for the gas turbine electrical power generation industry.
Robert’s initial efforts will focus on accelerating Victory Energy’s plan to become the preeminent industrial boiler and HRSG manufacturer through an aggressive lean transformation and a relentless commitment to delivering against flawless project execution and manufacturing. “I’ve always been impressed with what’s happening at Victory Energy. What they’ve been able to accomplish in a relatively short period of time is incredible. I look forward to helping the company seize on all this potential,” remarked Williams.
